RecoveryTrek Partners with Sentara Health Plans to offer PROOFTM
Norfolk, Va. and Hampton Roads, Va. (April 2025) — RecoveryTrek, LLC and Sentara Health Plans are partnering to provide PROOFTM, an innovative solution for remote observed drug and alcohol testing, to Medicaid plan members diagnosed with substance use disorder. PROOFTM will be offered to Sentara Health Plans Medicaid members residing in rural areas of Virginia and to those who have difficulty traveling to clinics.
The partnership leverages the PROOFTM virtual remote collection and testing solution in conjunction with lab-based oral fluid testing. Beginning in March of 2025, Sentara Health Plans Medicaid members diagnosed with substance use disorder who reside in the Roanoke, Virginia area will begin to receive PROOFTM test kits and access to the PROOFTM App and technology solution which provides anywhere, anytime, at-home drug, alcohol, and healthcare diagnostic testing.
